Cassation Appeals (Non-Criminal Cases)

A cassation appellant must deposit a security amount with the court treasury at the time of filing the appeal petition, as follows:

Security Deposit: 20,000 QAR if appealing a Court of Appeal judgment
Fixed Appeal Fee: 5,000 QAR

The court registry shall not accept the appeal petition unless it is accompanied by proof of the single required deposit of the security amount, even in cases where multiple appellants file a joint appeal petition, regardless of the differing grounds for appeal.
